接下任务后，公司第一时间召集生产、技术、工艺等相关负责人员召开专题讨论会，就公祭鼎的数据处理、模型3D打印、铸造生产等工作，按照交付时间倒排计划，安排落实了各个节点的具体完成时间和责任人，并要求对技术细节逐一进行特别的把控，确保把优质的产品按期交付。

接到三维数据模型时距离交付时间二十三天，公司数字化模型技术室立即开始对鼎的数据模型进行3D打印前的预处理，由于提供的三维数据注重表现的是形态，而转换为3D打印数据格式时部分数据会丢失和重叠，这需要技术人员对数据模型进行耐心、细致的重构处理。熟悉这项技术的都知道，数据重构技术是逆向工程技术中最为关键的环节，这是个细活，若重构模型不理想，后续工作就无法很好地进行。好在公司在逆向工程技术方面已经积累多年，技术人员均有着丰富的经验。唯一需要担心的是庞大的数据在进行转换时会造成电脑卡机，稍有闪失将功亏一篑。

在局部样件顺利获得馆方与设计方认可后，鼎的整体数据在忐忑中也顺利转换完成。不容迟疑，公祭鼎整体模型的3D打印马上开始，由于连续打印时间会很长，这对打印设备而言又是一次挑战，数字化模型技术室的同志们为了应对打印机发生突发状况，实行两班制24小时无缝对接，确保打印质量和进度。整个模型的打印时间从17日到19日，持续时间约53个小时。小型公祭鼎高200mm，鼎身直径167mm。鼎面铭文、记事共计463个字符，最小的文字仅有4mm高，文字笔画和花纹纹饰最细处仅头发丝粗细，打印成型的公祭鼎模型表面文字清晰、花纹细腻、线条流畅、形态端庄。
